You can never be too careful when it comes to air particulates!
Although Angela remains masked and using PPE for safety, her clients should be able to remove their masks with less anxiety in order to receive a complete service.
This special medical equipment is used to remove your breath particulates and aerosols during services and has a room mode to clean the entire spa between clients in 15-min.
Chakra Esthetics is ready and prepared! Any client with recent travel exposure (less then 2 weeks) or symptom history will not be able to appoint until symptoms are cleared medically and you've tested for Covid. You'll be asked to provide testing results. PLEASE DO NOT COME IN SICK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. It puts our lives with pre-existing conditions in jeopardy.
On the day of your appointment, please come alone to limit exposure and the number of clients at Chakra Esthetics. Please text (760) 537-1211 an announce that you've arrived (from your car). Please wait for a response, as I may be making sure the spa is safely empty before you enter. You'll be asked to bring your healthcare questionnaires that will be sent prior to your appointment. Please have these filled out prior and ready as we need to keep to a strict schedule in order to follow the COVID guidelines.
IMPORTANT - You are required to wear a mask to your appointment and will be asked NOT to remove it until directed to do so. This is a state mandate and a requirement for businesses to operate in the state of CA. Angela takes this very SERIOUS as this is a matter of health based on science, and no political statements are being made. Everyone has some sort of pre-existing medical condition, including Angela. So let's protect each other above all else.
Bring only one (1) bag with you (it will be placed in a sanitized tray along with your outerwear and shoes). Not Allowed; We are unable to take additional large shopping bags or additional items (including food/beverages).
Correct hygiene and frequent handwashing with soap is vital to help combat the spread of the coronavirus. Staff is instructed to wash their hands or use a rinse free sanitizer every 60 minutes (for 20 seconds), and frequently during treatments. Angela does so after any of the following activities: using the restroom, sneezing, touching their face, blowing their nose, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, eating, drinking, and entering or leaving the Chakra Esthetics facilities. Customers must use hand sanitizer upon arrival and again when you leave Chakra Esthetics.
Angela loves socializing and chatting, but during these times we will ask you to keep your interactions brief to reduce interpersonal exposure. Please know that Angela cares about you but we will have to refrain from our normal hugs and hand shakes. Angela will make sure you will have plenty of time to catch up in the treatment room (masked) before and after your appointment begins and ends.
At this time, all transactions should be by credit/debit card and should be paperless. You must provide your credit card details at the time of booking of your treatment online which is already our policy. (Ultimately we are trying avoid the exchange of cash temporarily). Any products that you would like to purchase or any gratuity you would like to add will be charged to the your card on file when you made your appointment request. Receipts will be emailed.
Your licensed esthetician will help you with any products you would like to purchase. We kindly ask that you do not touch any product display and allow us to assist you. Product pick up appointments can be made online, or by phone, as well when you need refills. Delivery can be arranged if required through mail or by car service (Uber/Lyft) within 5 miles.
As a bespoke practice with only one treatment suite, Chakra Esthetics prides itself at operating with low customer volume at any one time. Angela will be limiting appointments slots to reduce customer traffic through Chakra Esthetics; therefore, Angela asks that you please call/text 760-537-1222 when you arrive and wait in your car. This will allow her to check young other customers in/out one customer at a time. When selecting a time for an appointment please select 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm or 5 pm. Please arrive alone when notified by text - thank you!
Angela will be continuing with her regular table linens in lieu of disposables, as they are professionally cleaned/santized at 160 degrees and comfortable. The treatment room will be equipped with face shields, eye protection, masks and cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant‘s and Aerosol Extractors are used between appointments daily. Hospital UV light machines also disinfect the facility at night.
Appropriate PPE will be worn in adherence to California state and local regulations and guidelines. Angela is trained in PPE use and protection and re-certifies her training every year. Angela is required to wear mask and eye protection at all times and during your treatment. Also included will be medical equipment that will remove air particulates called an Aerosol Extractor. The device is kept approximately 10 inches from your mouth during services. It captures any bacteria/spores that you breathe, speak, cough or sneeze out, which provides more protection for others around you. A sneeze guard has been installed at the front desk to protect both Angela and her clients.

The time you schedule is reserved for your exclusive use. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we request 48-hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice will result in a charge of equal to 50% of the scheduled services. A "NO SHOW" will result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled service(s).
